Favourite technique: Kotegaeshi, Yonkyo

Dislikes: People on course's who think they know more than the person taking the course! People who watch what the instructor is doing, then do the opposite, and do their own thing.

Likes: People who enjoy Aikido with a passion.

Why Aikido: Aikido has an infinite amount of techniques which takes time to learn. You learn something new everyday, and the practice never becomes stale or boring.

Ambitions: To continue to build up the club, and raise the standard of practice.

Aikido is very important to me, so I have taken upon myself to teach as many people as possible what Traditional Aikido actually is. Our club is now in it's 5th year, in the Abertillery area, and I am rightfully proud of every student who trains in our Dojo.

There have been many highlights during my Aikido career, and too numerous to state them all. Three in particular are the week long Summer school in Cardiff 1985 with Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan & Nobuyoshi Tamura Shihan. Secondly being invited by Sensei Ellis 5th Dan to be one of his personal guests at the Kenshiro Abbe Course in Crystal Palace May 2005. Being part of the organising committee for the Nakazono Memorial Event, October 2007.
